My computer got some kind of nasty wi-fi-based attack yesterday, so I'm in the process of rebuilding it. Yes, I know I should have been using a firewall, and yes, I know I should have been using an antivirus program, but...oh, I'm so naive!
Actually, it's a good thing, and I've been meaning to do it since I got my compy back from Best Buy, but I really wanted to do it on my own time, you know? I've been sitting here for 3 hours, slowly replacing/upgrading all my software. Bleagh.
Also, a deep-seeded blood rage directed towards everything Microsoft is creeping through my belly. It's times like these, as I curse the very existence of "Windows Service Pack 2", that I wonder what my life would be like if I had a Mac...
But then again, I'm supposed to be getting a copy of Linux Ubuntu in the mail any day now, so maybe I can abandon Windows for good AND still have two mouse buttons! Plus, "Ubuntu" is fun to say (pronounce it oo-BOON-too).
