In other news: for those of you who aren't already aware, Julia and I have been duplex-hunting for a while now, and we've run into all sorts of obstacles - monkey bars, rope ladders, sphinx riddles, days-long paperwork, and considerable incompetence on the parts of various real estate agents.
But...and let me type this in my best Janine (from Ghostbusters) voice as I hit an imaginary buzzer in my head:
WE'VE GOT ONE, BOYS (and girls, too)!!!
Below you'll find some nifty pics of the nicely tiled living area, the roomy kitchen, and the heavily be-yarded place before we contaminate it with dog stink.
Note the friggin' HUGE backyard, too. There's a separate fenced garden area, too. Tula and Ziggy (and even the cat) can go back there and explore for DAYS.
Until sometime - YAY! We gots a place!

Is this anywhere near us?
ReplyDeleteIt is very close to you, indeed, Hilbanks! So close, in fact, that you may get quite sick of us within mere weeks.
ReplyDeleteThe new Mitschke pad, (or Padschke) is just off of Anderson Mill - a little closer to Parmer than 183 - and right opposite Live Oak Elementary School.
There will be much gathering, get-togetherhood, and general shindiggery to come - and you'd better bet that the Marchbankseseses are invited!
Tile kicks carpets ass! Congrats on the new digs, yo.
ReplyDeleteOh man, I love the backyard. And the kitchen--lots of space for lil' dawgies, in both places! I'm real excited for you guys. Can't wait to see you soon, in your element. :)
ReplyDeleteWe are SO in our element! You should see us! Julia can blend in perfectly with the sofa, and I have kitchen-colored natural camouflage.
ReplyDeleteOur prey never suspects a thing...
...until it's TOO LATE!
Muah-ha-ha-ha-haaaaaa!
