One of the letters I opened today at work had the most remarkable sticker on it.
First, there was a silhouette of the NYC skyline, and the World Trade Center towers were highlighted in the center. Then, beneath this, it said in big letters, "FEED THE CHILDREN".
Um...okay...
I think that, if it would have fit on the sticker, they'd have put various colored ribbons (you know...for breast cancer, the troops, and Lance Armstrong, God bless his honest soul), something about saving whales, a warning about the avian flu on it, and possibly some dark-skinned children with flies on their faces. Oh, and a picture of an American soldier with the caption, "EAT MORE BEEF" embedded subliminally in the ink.
Alright, perhaps I'm being sarcastic, but maybe one of you guys can explain to me how 9/11 and starving kids relate to one another.
I think it's just a Woolworth's ploy to invent another holiday:
Guilty McSorrowpants Day.
but probably still better than Stinky McSoilpants Day. i think it's coming up soon...!
ReplyDeleteEw! That sounds like a bad case o' the greasies...
ReplyDeleteI'll probably have to work on Stinky McSoilpants Day, too.
