
So...much...pork...
So. Much. Freakin'. Pork.
I bought something called "pork trimmings", with the intention of trying a recipe I came up with. I was looking for enough meat for three or four people, but when I opened it up to start seasoning it, it turned out to be 10 full steaks and 6 chops - enough for about 8 people. Well, people are coming over, so I'll cook it anyways, I thought - somebody'll eat it. Thus, I stayed up until 2:30am last night prepping the first stage of this fabulous meal.
Well, come today, everybody canceled. Woo! I now have about 10 pounds of half-cooked pork filling up the fridge, and I figure I'll be eating pork steaks, pork chops, pork carnitas, and whatever other various pork recipes I can assemble. Whoopee! Pork pork pork!
So instead of all that, Julia and I got to clean the garage! Hooray work!
Hooray pork!
