WORDS OF THE DAY

For the last week-and-a-half, I've been generating various words-of-the-day to describe my coworker, Larry. I write them up on our big dry-erase board along with a sentence which correctly uses both the new word and Larry's name. Some examples of previous...uh...palabras de los dias: contumely; scurrilous; opprobrious; insalubrious; puerile; mountebank; exiguous.

Today, however, I found my current favorite word: POLTROON, or, more specifically, "poltroonish". It means abject cowardice. I like it. It's fun to say. Let's use it in a sentence!

"Stop being so poltroonish, Larry, or I just might fling your mephitic butt out a window."

Isn't that fun?!?

It's unfortunate that I only have such a poltroonish caricature of a nerd to associate with at work.

See? I did it again!

Oh, and my van should be back in pimp-tacular pimp-action soon. I don't have to replace the ol' tranny, just some tranny sensors that went out. Tranny is also fun to say, except when you have to buy one. Then it sorta sucks.

Tarfleem!
